Sonarworks SoundID Reference Measurement Microphone (without Software)

An omnidirectional measurement microphone with an individual calibration profile. Every microphone has been measured by Sonarworks acousticians against an ANSI-certified measurement microphone. This means perfect accuracy within the audible range and freedom from sample-to-sample irregularities.

System requirements for SoundID Reference compatibility

  • Valid license for SoundID Reference for Speakers and Headphones, or SoundID Reference for Multichannel
  • Mac: macOS 10.14; 10.15; 11 Big Sur; 12 Monterey, 13 Ventura
  • PC: Windows 10; 11
  • Stable internet connection (offline use not supported)
  • 2.0 stereo speaker system, or a multichannel speaker system
  • XLR to XLR audio cable
  • Microphone stand and clip (ø 21mm / 0.83”) for multichannel system measurements
  • Audio interface requirements during the speaker measurement process:
    • +48v Phantom Power support
    • The same audio interface must be used for input/output
    • The audio interface must support and be set to one of the following sample rate formats: 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88kHz, 96kHz, 192kHz
    • The audio hardware setup must consist of a single external hardware device only (additional preamp units are supported)
